I'm very new to this blogging business.
How do I know if anybody reads it?

I've had more than a few queries about the graphic featured both here and on my website www.normangare.com

It's from an untitled piece by my second cousin's daughter Sydney. Believe it or else, she made this when she was seven. I leave you to reflect on how astounding that is.

I call it 'sunflowers'. I don't think it sufferes from the obvious comparison to the other 'sunflowers'.

Monday morning and the grade four is off to school. He forgot to mention on Friday, Saturday and Sunday that he had homework so, in addition to making his breakfast and lunch, shoveling the driveway and checking his pockets for explosive devices, we had to struggle with math.

Ah, the new methods of teaching math.

It was simple multiplication and all went well until we reached "what is the relationship between the odd and even products and their factors?"

What does this mean? I know what a factor is and I know what a product is, but what is meant by 'relationship' in this context? Is this a valid and/or meaningful question?

I write humour articles.

They're generally about a thousand words ( a couple of large font pages).

Many people find them funny or at least amusing and worth the couple of minutes it takes to read.
